Strategically located at the intersection of East Athens Street and Park Avenue, just a block from the downtown business district, the Winder Cultural Arts Center is a spacious and up-to-date meeting, teaching and entertainment facility - designed with easy access and the needs of every patron in mind.
The Winder Cultural Arts Center is home to the Colleen O. Williams Theater, a state-of-the-art, fully equipped performance theater with comfortable seating for over 200. The Colleen offers a large easily adaptable performance area, ample wing and back stage space and attached dressing and rest rooms.
The Winder Cultural Arts Center also provides a Dining/Conference Room, with full sound and video projection capability, an attached caterer's kitchen, and seating up to 100 for business or 80 for dining. There is also a well-lit multipurpose classroom, large enough for departmental meetings (or our ever-popular ballroom dance classes), yet intimate enough to serve as "the Bride's Room" for an increasing number of weddings. Additionally, the facility houses administrative, production and editing spaces for WTV-21, the City of Winder's award winning government access cable television station.
Please, take a few minutes. Take a mouse stroll through this website; look over the before-and-after photos; see what we have accomplished so far; imagine what is yet to come. When you've finished your visit, I know you will understand why we are so proud of ALL we have to offer the citizens of Winder, Barrow County and Northeast Georgia.
So - no matter what you have planned - if your next reception, party, wedding, or business meeting requires space for ten to two hundred - please consider the Winder Cultural Arts Center.
